Am I allowed to have a thesis copied?

Permission to photocopy from a thesis was obtained from the authors by copyright agreements which have varied over the years. This permission does not extend to scanning. The author's written permission is required for photocopying from an older thesis, awarded before 1962. Staff will need to check to see if permission to copy was granted between 1962 and 1974. Most theses from 1975 onwards can be copied.
