How can I renew my books from home?

As a rule there isn't much need to renew your own books. Your books will be renewed automatically five times and then after that you will need to get in touch with us and we can check them in and back out for another five autorenewals.
You will receive an automated email when your books are due for renewal, and it will give you the new due date for the books - it will look like this:

You will see that the new due date is on the line beginning English 5th Floor.
There are three main reasons why books might not be automatically renewed:
- Your membership has expired. You can check the expiry date of your membership by logging into your library account. If it has expired, you will need to renew your account.
- One or more of the books has been recalled by another reader - this will prevent any of your books being automatically renewed. Please return the recalled book(s) as soon as you can or if this is not possible please get in touch with us.
- The five autorenewals have run out. If this is the case you can renew online via your library account, or contact us to renew them for you.
