I have been sent an automated overdue email about a laptop which I already returned
I borrowed a laptop and returned it before leaving the library. However I have now been sent an automated overdue email about it. What should I do?
Answer
The laptops are a little fiddly and sometimes the plug may not be fully inserted into the socket, so the system does not register that the laptop is returned. When returning a laptop, check for a red light next to the locker - this shows it has been returned successfully.
If you have returned a laptop and still received an automated email about it:
- if you are visiting the library the following day, scan your card and select the option to return the laptop. When the locker opens, push the plug in firmly and check for the red light.
- If you aren't planning to visit, please email us on senatehouselibrary@london.ac.uk and we will check the locker for you.
